Praveen Reddy

Praveen supports the development of IHG’s Mainstream brands and growth activities for the US East team. Praveen has been with IHG since 2017 and prior to joining the Development team, led major initiatives within Hotel Lifecycle and Growth (HLG), Procurement, and Reservation Customer Care (RCC) departments. Praveen holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. Residing in Alpharetta, Georgia, Praveen is married with 2 teenage children and also enjoys playing golf, tennis and watching his Tennessee Volunteers and Dallas Cowboys.

Marie Richard

Marie Richard è Director, sviluppo portafoglio & Luxury COE for portafoglio and Strategic Alliances in Europa presso IHG®, una delle aziende alberghiere leader a livello mondiale. Il ruolo paneuropeo di Marie è responsabile dello sviluppo di tutti i marchi IHG in collaborazione con gli sviluppatori regionali IHG per qualsiasi accordo portafoglio e alleanze strategiche, tra cui partnership per lo sviluppo multi-paese o complessi accordi di lusso.

Prior to IHG, Marie worked for Jin Jiang / Louvre Hotels Group for seven years where she had a progressive career from an International Development Analyst to Asset & Investment Manager and was most recently an M&A Manager, where she worked on several portfolio acquisitions for the group in Europe and Brazil. She was also in charge of International Operations for South America and India, in coordination with local operational offices.

Marie is an Honours graduate of HEC Paris Business School in France where she followed a Master in Management in Corporate Finance.

Samuel Richard

Samuel Richard è un Business sviluppo Manager presso IHG Hotels and Resorts, dove si occupa di promuovere la crescita di IHG marchio negli Stati Uniti e in Canada. Con oltre un decennio di esperienza in IHG, in precedenza ha ricoperto il ruolo di Consulente di qualità e Direttore regionale delle aperture in franchising .

Sam, che ha contribuito in modo determinante al lancio di Garner Hotels, ha svolto un ruolo determinante nel successo dell'apertura della prima struttura ad Auburn, WA, nel dicembre 2023. Eccelle nella gestione dei progetti, nelle strategie di crescita e nella costruzione di solide relazioni con l'hotel proprietario.

Prima di entrare in IHG, Sam ha lavorato come consulente di qualità presso LRA/Deloitte e ha ricoperto diversi ruoli operativi presso Fairmont, Westin e W Hotels. 

Sam ha conseguito un Diploma in Hospitality Management presso l'Institut de Tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec e una laurea in Business Administration con una specializzazione in Tourism and Hospitality Management presso l'Université du Québec à Montréal.

Sam risiede a Cochrane, vicino a Calgary in Alberta, Canada. Nel suo tempo libero, Sam ama le escursioni e lo sci di fondo nelle Montagne Rocciose canadesi, oltre a cucinare, fare giardinaggio e viaggiare.

Philip Ryan

Philip Ryan is Director of Development for Japan and Director of Capital Investments & Transactions for Asia Pacific. Based in Tokyo, he is responsible for working with hotel investors and owners on new hotels and conversions and executing IHG’s strategic growth in Japan and the region.

Merve Sakaoglu

Merve Sakaoglu è Senior sviluppo Manager per Türkiye presso IHG Hotels & Resorts, una delle aziende alberghiere leader a livello mondiale. 

Nel suo ruolo, Merve guida l'espansione del variegato marchio portafoglio di IHG in tutto il paese, comprese le opportunità di lusso, di alto livello e mainstream attraverso strutture di accordi gestiti e in franchising . 

Con oltre 15 anni di vasta esperienza nel settore dell'ospitalità, Merve ha ricoperto varie posizioni di leadership operativa presso marchi di fama mondiale come Marriott, Shangri-La, Raffles e Accor. Presso la sede centrale di Accor a Türkiye, ha svolto un ruolo fondamentale nella supervisione degli standard operativi a livello nazionale, fornendo al contempo un supporto significativo per le iniziative di sviluppo del gruppo. 

Merve ha conseguito una laurea presso la prestigiosa Hacettepe University e ha ulteriormente affinato la sua esperienza nel marketing attraverso gli studi a Oxford.  

Mitchell Salaman

Mitchell Salaman ricopre il ruolo di Regional Vice President of franchising Sales and Development per InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) nelle regioni Mid-Atlantic e Northeast. Dirige un team dedicato incentrato sul progresso degli sforzi di sviluppo di IHG per marchio come Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn, avid hotels, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites e Atwell suite.

Mitchell è entrato in IHG nel 2016, portando con sé oltre 20 anni di esperienza nel settore dell'ospitalità. Prima del suo incarico presso IHG, ha ricoperto diversi ruoli presso Starwood Hotels and Resorts, tra cui nove anni in Global and North America Development. In Starwood, Mitchell ha svolto un ruolo fondamentale nella gestione e nell'assicurare accordi gestiti e franchising in tutti i marchi dell'azienda. La sua carriera è iniziata come consulente di gestione nel settore dei servizi finanziari e delle assicurazioni.

Mitchell ha conseguito un MBA presso la NYU Stern School of Business, con specializzazioni in finanza, contabilità e sistemi informativi, e una laurea in Business Administration presso l'Università del Vermont. Con sede a Westchester, New York, Mitchell ama viaggiare, sciare e andare in bicicletta nel tempo libero.

Abhijay Sandilya

Abhijay Sandilya is Managing Director - Japan at IHG®, one of the world’s leading hotel companies. He is responsible for the company’s strategic growth, performance and operations in Japan.

Prior to taking on this role in October 2021, Abhijay spent nearly 6 years with IHG in Australia where he most recently led IHG’s Development team as VP Development - Japan, Australasia, Pacific. Together with his team in Sydney and Tokyo, he was responsible for IHG’s biggest years of signings and openings on record in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, New Caledonia and Micronesia – signing almost 60 deals and reshaping the JAPAC region from 60 operating hotels in 2016 to more than 140 open and pipeline hotels today.

Key signings in his time with IHG have included the Appi Kogen portfolio, IHG’s biggest conversion deal in more than a decade in Japan, the first voco and Vignette Collection hotels globally, and market entries for Hotel Indigo, Kimpton and Regent.

Prior to his time at IHG, Abhijay worked for Whitbread PLC and the Jumeirah Group in Singapore and Dubai holding key leadership positions working on hotel real estate acquisitions for the groups working across markets in the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific regions.

Abhijay has lived and worked in eight countries and holds a Master’s degree from Erasmus University’s Rotterdam School of Management.

Amy Schimmel

Amy Schimmel serves as Regional Director for IHG Hotels & Resorts – Mainstream Brands, overseeing franchise development and brand growth throughout the Mountain States region, including Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

With more than 31 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Amy brings a comprehensive and well-rounded perspective to hotel development. She began her career with Bristol Hotel & Resorts in Addison, Texas, and ClubCorp in Dallas, Texas, where she built a strong operational foundation that would shape her long-term success in the industry.

Amy joined IHG in 2015 as a Regional Manager of Property Improvements, where she worked closely with owners and operators to enhance asset value and ensure brand excellence. Over the course of her career, she has developed extensive expertise across multiple disciplines, including design and construction management, procurement, renovation oversight, and hotel development. Her breadth of knowledge and collaborative approach have established her as a trusted advisor to franchise partners throughout the region.

Recognized for her strategic insight and relationship-driven leadership style, Amy is dedicated to helping owners successfully position and grow their investments within the IHG portfolio.

Amy proudly calls Colorado home. She and her husband have been married for 32 years and have two children and a Corgi. Outside of work, they enjoy hiking, skiing, college football, and spending time in Northern California’s wine country.

Kevin Schramm

Kevin leads the team focused on increasing distribution of IHG’s mainstream brands throughout the United States and Canada. Prior to joining IHG, he was Vice President, Real Estate and Development, for Hyatt Corporation, where he oversaw development and franchising for Hyatt’s select service and extended stay brands in 17 states and Canada. Previously, he was Senior Director of Franchising for Wyndham Worldwide. Earlier in his career, he was managing partner of a restaurant/bar concept in Houston, Texas. Kevin attended the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, where he majored in finance and played baseball. Outside the office, he enjoys living in California—surfing, golfing, biking, and just being at the beach.
