Roland executes IHG’s long-term franchise distribution strategy implementation for all mainstream brands across the southeastern United States and all of Canada. Leading a team of six Regional Development Directors tasked with cultivating new and existing franchisee relationships, he drives strategic in-market brand placement and maximizes the quality and footprint of each property. Starting as a marketing intern in 1986, Roland offers 31 years of IHG brands expertise, having risen through various functional areas including market planning, franchise development, and franchise sales. A loyal Hoosier basketball fan, Roland is a double graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching action-filled movies and television shows.
