Ricardo is responsible for executing management and franchise contracts for new-build and conversion hotels for all IHG brands in Brazil. Ricardo began his career with IHG as a Development Manager and has accepted increasingly greater responsibilities throughout his ten years with the company. Prior to working in hospitality, he held various business development, leadership, and customer relations positions with Ultra Group, a Brazilian energy company, and Santillana Group, a Spanish publishing company. Ricardo earned an MBA in Services Marketing from Fundação Instituto de Administração and a BA in Public Administration from the University of the State of São Paulo. In his free time, Ricardo stays active with CrossFit and relaxes while enjoying movies with his kids and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys reading and discussing politics, economics, and philosophy.
