Chris leads the development of new-build hotels for IHG’s upscale brands in the western United States. With nearly 30 years of experience, Chris has held executive roles in operations, sales and marketing, and development with leading global hotel organizations. While with Hyatt Hotel Corporation, he guided franchise development for branded select service and extended stay hotels in western North America. During his eight years in development and operations with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Chris developed projects for its Luxury Collection, Westin, Sheraton, and Four Points by Sheraton brands, as well as the rollout of select service brands Aloft and Element. Chris earned a BS in Business with a specialization in Hospitality Management from Appalachian State University. Chris is a loyal sports fan, and watching Duke basketball and playing golf are some of his favorite pastimes. Whenever possible, he enjoys traveling to new destinations and catching up on the latest action movies.
