Alex oversees the development and growth strategies for IHG’s mainstream brands in the Mid-Atlantic region. Well-versed in IHG’s brands portfolio, he previously supported the development of IHG’s upscale brands as well as the execution of management agreements for IHG’s mainstream brands as Development Manager for North America and Latin America. Prior to IHG, Alex advanced through positions of increasing responsibility with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, DPS Development, Eastdil Secured, and the Four Seasons Maui. A University of Delaware alum, Alex majored in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management and minored in Business Administration. In addition to spending time with his wife and daughter, Alex loves the thrill of traveling, enjoying new food, surfing, skiing, and golfing. He is also an active supporter of the National Parks Conservation Association, The Adirondack Council, and the Nature Conservancy.
