Paul Adan
Paul Adan is the Regional Senior Vice President of Development for IHG Hotels and Resorts for Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean region, and is based in Miami, Florida. Paul is responsible for hotel development and retention for all of IHG brands in the region.
Mr. Adan is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and brings 25+ years of experience within the international hospitality industry, working extensively across the Americas and the Caribbean.
Mr. Adan began his career with Hilton International, working with their Board of Directors on the development of the group's properties in Brazil. Since then, Paul has held executive positions with Meliá Inversiones Americanas, Sol Meliá, NH Hoteles, CB Richard Ellis, Amerisud, Marriott International and Radisson Hotel Group Americas, working on development deals from all perspectives. Paul has focused his career to hospitality development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Paul brings an intimate knowledge of the hotel industry coupled with fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Jimmy Bae
Jimmy supports the growth of IHG’s upscale and lifestyle brands across the western region of the US and Canada. His responsibilities include prospecting for new franchisees, expanding existing franchisee portfolios, and identifying opportunity markets and sites for future development. Prior to joining the Development team, Jimmy was an integral part of IHG’s Finance team, serving as Director of Investment Analysis most recently. Jimmy graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Jeb is Director of Development, responsible for the growth of IHG’s Lifestyle & Premium brands in the Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana markets. Jeb has 2 decades of franchise development experience specializing in expanding branded hotels portfolios through new construction and hotel conversions. Prior to joining IHG, Jeb was Vice President, Development with Aimbridge Hospitality, sourcing new hotel management opportunity. Before Aimbridge, Jeb held franchise development positions with Wyndham Hotels and Choice Hotels, earning numerous President’s Club Awards. Jeb graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University receiving a BBA, majoring in Management. Outside of the office, Jeb enjoys traveling, playing golf and visiting his two sons college football campuses.
Oscar Chavez
Oscar is responsible for driving the growth of IHG’s preferred brands across Mexico. His duties include promoting IHG’s brand portfolio, prospecting investors, acquiring and developing hotels, and executing management and franchise contracts. Over his 25-year hospitality industry career, Oscar has held positions within commercial, marketing, and hotel development and acquisitions with leading hotel companies including IHG, Starwood, Accor, and Posadas Group. He’s also played key roles in the planning, launch, and promotion of notable hotel brands in Mexico and Cuba, such as Ibis Hotels, Golden Tulip, One Hotels, Aloft, and Krystal Urban Hotels. Oscar holds an undergraduate degree in Tourism Administration from the Technologic University of Mexico and a post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management and a diploma in Finance from Panamerican University. When in need of excitement, Oscar enjoys coaching and playing flag football and soccer with his three daughters as well as touring through Mexico with his wife.

Catie is responsible for the growth of our luxury, lifestyle and premium brands across the Western region of the US and Canada. Prior to joining IHG, Catie spent several years as the Vice President of Development for Commune Hotels & Resorts/Two Roads Hospitality expanding the Thompson, AlilA, Joie de Vivre, Tommie and Destination brands across the US and Mexico. Upon Hyatt’s acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality, she was retained as the Vice President of Lifestyle Development & Owner Relations where she was responsible for the successful integration of the Two Roads portfolio and pipeline, workouts and retentions, sourcing new opportunities across the lifestyle brands, driving development strategy in the lifestyle space, mergers and acquisitions and JV/equity investments. Catie graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Hotel Administration. Catie, her husband and their two young children live in the Bay Area where they enjoy traveling, spending time with friends, going to concerts, and skiing in Lake Tahoe.
Margaret Crowell
Margaret supports the development of IHG’s Luxury, Lifestyle, & Premium brands and growth initiatives across the Western region of the USA and Canada. Prior to joining the Development team, Margaret gained valuable experience as a member of IHG’s market planning and feasibility team where she supported the Western USA and MLAC regions. Before joining IHG, Margaret graduated from Cornell University with her Master’s of Management in Hospitality from the Cornell Johnson School of Business and Nolan School of Hotel Administration. In her free time, Margaret enjoys the outdoors, traveling to new places and listening to live music.
Scott Duff
Scott Duff is Vice President of Development leading the growth of IHG’s brands across Canada. Scott has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, focused on development within Canada including 8 years with Choice Hotels and 11 years with Starwood Hotels + Resorts. Scott has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and completed the Advanced Management Program – Hospitality Industry from the University of Guelph. A native Canadian, Scott lives in the Toronto area with his family.

Estefania joined IHG in 2013 as an assistant in Development upon graduating from Universidad de Guadalajara with a degree in tourism administration. As a business development manager, she supports franchise sales and development in Mexico for the growth of all brands across the country. Her duties also include driving strategic negotiations of all retentions in Mexico, Latin America & the Caribbean. Estefania is originally from California but moved to Mexico at the age of 5. She enjoys soccer, painting, discovering new restaurants, and traveling with her daughters and partner.
